In the trenches.

I love our donkeys. I do. But I’m not going to lie, this donkey dairy thing isn’t easy.

It’s these stories, these kids, our kids....they’re the real reason we keep going. All the missed breakfasts, lunches, and dinners with Daddy because he’s milking or doing chores. The occasional kicks, bites, and stepped on toes. The heartbreak and tears when things are out of our control and no amount of human effort can alter that fact.

Then we get these emails...and even better, we get to meet these children and their parents at the Hee Haw for Health.

And we realize again how blessed we are to get to be a part of this thing.

Even when it’s hard.

Especially when it’s hard.

Please be praying for us and for every single person who has helped with this event for our kids, given milk money, volunteered.... They’re in the trenches with us, and we can never thank them enough.

“I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

2 Corinthians 12:10 GNB
