HEALTHY LAND = HEALTHY FOOD
We believe in leaving the soil better than we found it. That’s why we practice intensive rotational grazing, moving cattle through small paddocks almost daily from May to September. In the fall and winter months, our cattle graze cover crops, and through the coldest stretch of February and March, they eat hay and baleage we raise ourselves. By April, they’re back on fresh cover crops. These practices work together to build healthy soil, capture carbon, improve water absorption, restore wildlife habitat—and ultimately raise healthier cattle that provide more nutrient-dense food for your family.
